Swedish massage is the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body to decrease pain and tension and improve function. It is wonderful for soothing both physical and mental stress. We like to work within your comfort level to find the optimal pressure for your body.
Please note that "Deep Tissue Massage" and "Relaxation Massage" both fall within the umbrella of Swedish Massage. It is all a matter of personal preference, and we can determine how much pressure you like during your appointment.
For a full body massage that does not focus too specifically on one or several “problem” areas, an hour should be just fine. If you’d like a deep-tissue approach in order to work on extra tight muscle groups that need more attention, it is advisable (although of course not required) to book a longer session.

Neck & shoulders, hands and feet, face and scalp. Bliss.
This hour is dedicated to all those areas of the body that suffer when we're stressed out, but that never get quite enough attention. It's super good for headache sufferers, or anyone who really needs to just chill for a minute.
Before ending this hour with a decadent foot massage, we’ll start by giving those tired arms and hands some much needed attention. Focussed work to your neck, shoulders and upper chest will help to bring your shoulders down and back, thus alleviating postural related tension. We’ll then wash our hands before moving to your face.
The soothing face, jaw and scalp massage will be done super-good-for-your-skin jojoba oil, suitable for all skin types. Top it off with a steamy hot towel for ultimate relaxation. Your hair might get messy. It’ll be worth it.
This treatment firms and tones the facial muscles and helps drain the face of puffiness. It promotes healthy circulation, encouraging blood flow and oxygenation to leave you with a vibrant glow. It is best to arrive at this treatment without wearing makeup, and remember to bring your favourite SPF for afterwards!
It is optional to include a few minutes of abdominal massage in this hour. It's an area that can hold a lot of stress (think; solar plexus somersaults), but we often don't think about it. Abdominal massage can do wonders for reducing overall tension, and gently releasing the diaphragm can help one to breathe easier.

Reflexology is the manipulation of points on the feet that correspond to all of the organs and systems of the body. Regular treatments can boost immunity, and help the body achieve and maintain a state of homeostasis. Wonderful for treating an array of issues, from poor digestion and headaches, to insomnia and more.

Otherwise it will have to be done during your appointment time, and nobody wants a shorter treatment. Please also arrive on time. I cannot extend your session if you are late.
Make apologies for your body.
I don't care about the things you might think are imperfect. I still think you're great.
Speak up if you don't like something.
If you'd like more or less pressure, or want to make any changes to the treatment, please do tell me. Only you know how you're feeling. We never make any treatment decisions without your informed consent, and you can change your mind at any time.
Leave a gratuity.
