pandemic policies

At Rosehill Massage Therapy we are dedicated to protecting the health and safety of our patients.  We are fully compliant with all government directives regarding COVID-19.

Here's how we can protect each other:

  •  Masks are no longer mandated by the government or our regulatory body, so they are optional.  If you choose to wear one, we will wear one as well.

  • There are HEPA air filters in the waiting room and in the treatment room.

  • All therapists have received at least 3 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.

  • We leave a 30 minute space between all appointments to ensure we have time to properly clean and disinfect the treatment table and any equipment used.

  • We (therapists) wash our hands up to our elbows after each patient visit and before starting with the next patient.

  • We (therapists) do not come to work if we are sick.  If we wake up feeling unwell, we will contact you to let you know your session must be cancelled.

  • If you are sick, even if it is not COVID, please let us know that you will not be coming in for your appointment.  We do not want to contract any illness that can be passed on to other patients, nor would be like to lose the income associated with not being able to come to work if we are sick.

More on disinfection:

We follow the cleaning and disinfection protocols from the Ministry of Health and the directives of our regulatory college.  This includes the cleaning and disinfection of all diagnostic and treatment tools and treatment surfaces between each patient visit.

Cleaning removes visible soiling, while disinfecting uses chemicals to kill germs once a surface is cleaned. A “wipe-twice” method (wipe once to clean, wipe again to disinfect) is used to both clean and disinfect surfaces before every appointment.

We have allotted extra time in between patients in order to allow for these thorough and rigorous disinfection protocols.

If you show up with any COVID positive symptoms we must turn you away for your appointment.  If you are experiencing symptoms before your scheduled appointment, please cancel your appointment as soon as symptoms arise.

We appreciate you giving us as much time as possible to reschedule your appointment to be fair to everyone.

We reserve the right to refuse service for anyone who does not cooperate with our safety protocols. Any persons not following protocol will be kindly asked to leave.
